PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to use a panel ordinarily displaying one image by a single panel as a liquid crystal panel displaying one enlarged image by means of plural e.g. three color liquid crystal panels. SOLUTION: For example, one pixel is substantially constituted by nine pixel electrodes 54 on a first row first column - a ninth column. The same R(red) image signal is inputted to a first column, fourth column and seventh column selecting lines 53 from an image signal input part composed of an ordinary LSI driver, etc. At this time, assume that a scanning signal is supplied to a scanning line 52 on a first row. Then, R thin film transistors 55 on the first, fourth and seventh columns of the first row are turned on. Consequently, one pixel substantially composed of nine pixel electrodes 54 is enlarged itself three times in the lateral direction along the scanning line 52. The image enlargement in the longitudinal direction along the selecting line 53 is performed by a light transmission body for enlarging the image. |
