The toy has geometric blocks (2) each with a longitudinal cross shaped mortise (21) to receive connecting (3) or axle (4) rods. The long faces of each block have V-section grooves equal to half of the mortise. A rod can be inserted when two rods are placed together so that their grooves form a mortise.
