A sewage purification system comprises a gassing system, which can be raised and lowered in a sewage purification basin (10), and has an anchor structure with a guide rail (30) for the drop pipe (24) with the connected gas distributor (20) and/or a holder (42) for the free end of the gas distributor (20) supports the bottom of the drop pipe (24) with a release fixture for the upper end of the pipe. In a sewage purification system a guide rail (30) is close to a wall (16) of the basin (10), attached only to the wall (16) or at the wall (16) and a base plate (14) of the basin (10). The guide rail (30) extends from the rim (18) of the basin (10) to the base plate (14). The guide rail (30) has a swing position guide, on a vertical swing axis with an additional longitudinal guide at the bottom in relation to the longitudinal axis (56) of the gas distributor (20). The holder has an angled side wall structure, to deflect and align the free end of the distributor (20) when it is lowered, forming a funnel-shaped entry opening to work with the guide shoulder (46) at the end of the distributor. The holder has entry angled pieces (48) over the longitudinal guide (44). The guide rail (30) is a pipe (32) with a cylindrical outer contour, with a guide shoulder (36) with an elongated drilled hole at the drop pipe (24). The swing position guide has a plate or rod vane (34) at the bottom section of the guide rail (30), on the axial direction, with a guide slit for the guide shoulder (36) with a funnel-shaped entry opening. A lower shoulder (40) at the guide rail (30) forms an angled plane for the gas distributor (20) when it is lowered. The angled plane of the lower shoulder (40) and the angled side walls of the distributor end holder (42) are at the same angle. The gas distributor (20) has a carrier eyelet (50) for a carrier cable, at the outer one-third of the gas distributor (20) from the free end.
