Stable water-based pigmented inks giving vivid prints with good tone and fastness

<p>Water-based pigmented ink (A) contains pigment(s), water, a dispersant and 0.1-3 wt.% fluorescent pigment. The pigment particles have an average diameter /} 0.1 mu m and the weight ratio of dispersant to pigment is 1.2-5. Independent claims are also included for (a) ink-jet color printers; (b) water-based pigmented ink (B) for an ink-jet printer; (c) water-based pigmented ink (C); and (d) a water-based pigmented ink containing carbon black and a cyan pigment.</p>
