PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the bother of watering to a flowerpot. SOLUTION: This flowerpot is formed out of a vessel capable of storing water and has spaces for storing the water, partitioned by a net-like material at the bottom part thereof. Electrodes for electrolysis and electrodes for sensor for detecting water shortage are attached at the lower parts of the space to provide oxygen formed by electrolyzing the water by the electric power of a solar battery, to roots of a plant. The electric source for the sensor for detecting water shortage can be shared with that of the electrolysis, and the management of the water in the flowerpot can be readily carried out. |
