PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a pressing-in work of a pipe having a large diameter or a polygonal section by the pipe-jacking method or an exavating work of a tunnel having a large diameter or a polygonal section by the shielding method. SOLUTION: A plurality of excavating machines 8A, 8B, 8C, 8D, 8E, 8F, 8G, are disposed at the front part of a leading pipe 2 of excavating equipment 32. The excavating machines 8A-8G are constituted of rotary bodies 9A, 9B, 9C, 9D, 9E, 9F, 9G and a plurality of water-jetting nozzles 11A, 11B, 11C, 11D, 11E, 11F, 11G attached to the front face of the rotary bodies 9A-9G. |
