PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support leg excellent in breakage resistance and repeated load resistance by making the support leg for office chair by use of a glass long fiber-reinforced polypropylene, including a specified quantity of a long fiber having a specified fiber average length therein as fibrous reinforcing material, and providing a fitting part with a female taper having a specified taper angle. SOLUTION: The lower end area of the support bar body of a chair has a male taper, and this support bar body is fitted to the fitting part 14c of a chair leg 14 and supported by a female taper. This chair leg 14 has a substantially cross flat surface, and the cross arm 14b part is formed so as to have a substantially reversed E-shaped sectional form, and this molding is performed by use of a glass long fiber- reinforced polypropylene composition containing a glass long fiber reinforcing material having a fiber average length of 2-10 mm in an amount of 25-45 wt.%. At this time, the female taper of the fitting part 14c is formed so as to have an angle within the range of 1.9-2.6 deg. to the central axis of the fitting part 14c. According to this, the disassembling resistance, breakage resistance and repeated load resistance of the fitting part 14c can be improved. |
