PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sterilizing efficiency inside a container by improving its sealability by a mouth structure of the container and a seal member. SOLUTION: In a structure of a mouth part 10 of a synthetic resin container or its preform which is sealable by a seal member 15, the mouth part 10 in which the surface roughness of an inner circumferential surface 21 in the prescribed range inward of the container or its preliminary formed body from an end face 14 of the mouth part 10 is 10 μm or under, and the seal member 15 which is sealable to the mouth part 10, and where a strip-like projecting part 25 is provided on an outer circumference of an insertion part 27 to be inserted in an inner circumferential surface 21 of the mouth part 10 and the number of the strip-like projecting part 25 is one, are inserted to improve the sealability and to improve the sterilizing efficiency inside the container.
