PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition in which the viscosity increase of unvulcanized rubber by silica formulation is suppressed, while retaining the improvement effect of tanδ(at 0 deg.C) in a polysiobutylene-based rubber. SOLUTION: The rubber composition is prepared by adding a silica-sticking carbon black to a modified polyisobutylene or isobutylene-based copolymer into which the functional group that is reactive with the silanol groups on the silica surface is introduced. The modified polyisobutylene is, for example, a halogen-introduced isobutylene-isoprene copolymer rubber and/or a halogen group-introduced isobutylene-p-methylstyrene copolymer rubber. The content of silica in the silica-sticking carbon black is 0.1-25 wt.%.
