<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel input device capable of improving operability and input accuracy by applying plural algorithms to one input picture. SOLUTION: In this touch panel input device for detecting a touch position from the voltage distribution of the voltage impressed to one of two opposed resistor films and the voltage obtained on an other resistor film when the resistor films are made in contact with each other, plural touch coordinate detection areas A, B, C and D are set on the surface of a touch panel 22 corresponding to an instruction from a system controller 11, and input system are assigned to the divided areas. When a touch input is performed to any divided area, a touch panel controller 11 calls the algorithm corresponding to the input system assigned to that area and performs the detection of the touch coordinate based on the algorithm.</p> |
