PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject resin mixed material intended for producing molded products by safely and simply mixing a styrene-based resin with a cellulose-based powder and/or solid pieces. SOLUTION: This resin mixed material is obtained by dissolving a styrene- based resin in a glycol ether-based solvent or a fatty acid dialkyl ester-based solvent, mixing a cellulose-based powder and/or solid pieces, such as woodflour, and adding water to the mixture to form a granular product. Finally, using a usual method for molding resins, molded products needing a higher mechanical strength, such as particle boards, or molded products needing a lower mechanical strength, such as cushioning materials are produced from this resin mixed material, thus reusing polystyrene-based resins and cellulose-based powder. |
