PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular steel slag fertilizer having good collapsibility in water and capable of being quickly collapsed and dispersed in water, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This granular steel slag fertilizer comprises a steel slag and a binder. Therein, the fertilizer contains a compound of the formula: X-O-(AO)m - H [X is a 2-30C acyl group or a 1-30C hydrocarbon group; A is a 2-4C alkylene group; (m) is 1-100] in an amount of 0.001-10 wt.%. The method for producing the granular steel slag fertilizer comprises adding the aqueous solution or dispersion of the compound of the formula to the steel slag and the binder, granulating the mixture and subsequently drying the granules. |
