<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil-base ink composition which, when used in a ball-point pen, can smoothly give writing without initial poor delivery by including a salt of a basic dye with a specified acidic polyoxyethylene ether phosphoric acid ester. SOLUTION: A basic dye base obtained by neutralizing a basic dye with caustic soda or the like is neutralized with a specified amount of an acidic polyoxyethylene ether phosphoric ester of the formula (wherein R is a 6-30C alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, or alkylaryl; n is 1-20: and x is 1 or 2) to obtain a salt of the basic dye with the acidic polyoxyethylene ether phosphoric acid ester. 140 wt.% this salt is mixed with 30-70 wt.% organic solvent such as propylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, or the like and 5-35 wt.% resin such as a ketone resin, a xylene resin, or a polyethylene oxide.</p> |
