PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain good loading property by an inexpensive and simple configuration by constituting this sheet material support tool by lowering a face of a part of a bottom face supporting a rear end in the direction of conveyance of a sheet material substantially downward in the vertical direction and reducing an area of a contact face of the rear end of the sheet material and the bottom face to reduce the resistance against the sheet material. SOLUTION: A discharge tray 5 is provided in a condition in which it is tilted for the horizontal direction by an angleθ. A sheet material discharged by a pair of discharge rollers 4a, 4b slides down on a bottom face 5a of the discharge tray 5 and is loaded thereon. Furthermore, the discharge tray 5 is constituted by lowering faces 5b, 5c in both end parts in the longitudinal direction of the bottom face 5a supporting a rear end in the direction of conveyance of the sheet material substantially downward in the vertical direction. Then, an area of a contact face of the rear end of the sheet material and the bottom face 5a is reduced. When the sheet material discharged by the pair of discharge rollers 4a, 4b slides down on the bottom face 5a of the discharge tray 5, the resistance of the sheet material and the bottom face 5a of the discharge tray 5 is reduced. Consequently, the loading property of the discharge tray 5 is improved.
