The lifesaving raft has a ventilating hose (16) in its inner area leading from the roof (14) to the floor (13) and penetrating the roof and floor with an aperture (17,18). The hose is provided with a through passage aperture (20) to the inner space (23) of the raft arranged at a distance from the floor. The cross-section of the hose widens to the aperture (17) formed in the roof. The aperture (18) of the hose penetrating the floor is closable by a check valve formed as a textile flap valve. Several ventilating hoses are distributed over the periphery of the lifesaving raft.
