PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-image quality display device preventing the deterioration of contrast due to the aberration and the dispersion in the shape of micro- lenses by providing a first reflection region having a high reflection factor against visible light and a second reflection region arranged around the first reflection region and having a reflection factor lower than that. SOLUTION: A picture element reflecting electrode 110 is constituted of a first high-reflection region 125 having a high-reflection factor metal 114 on the surface and a second low-reflection region 124 surrounding it. The high- reflection region 125 with a high reflection factor reflects the main image signal component of incident light, and the low-reflection region 124 with a low reflection factor hardly reflects the light component forming no image due to aberration and the stray light component, thereby a high-contrast and high-quality image can be obtained without causing the alignment irregularity of a liquid crystal and the deterioration of contrast. |
