PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material suppressing curl due to a humidity change and excellent in antistatic performance. SOLUTION: In the silver halide photographic sensitive material with photographic constituent layers comprising at least one red-sensitive layer, at least one green-sensitive layer, at least one blue-sensitive layer and at least one nonphotosensitive layer on one side of the substrate and one or more hydrophilic backing layers on the other side, the thickness of the substrate is 85-110μm, the coating weight of gelatin in the photographic constituent layers is <=16 g/m<2> and that in the backing layers is <=13 g/m<2> . At least one of polyacrylic acid and its salt is contained in at least one of the backing layers.
