PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RS-232C handset that keeps secrecy without the need for a sound source card in a speech of an internet phone call and by which dialing of a telephone set and hooking is controlled. SOLUTION: A handset has an RS-232C interface interfacing with a terminal and is made up of a handset section provided with a microphone and a speaker and with a main body section. The main body section is made up of a handset interface(I/F) section 208, a voice data coding section 211, a command processing section 207, a frame assembly section 205, a transmission buffer section 204, an RS-232C I/F section 202, a reception buffer section 203, a frame disassembly section 206, and a voice data decoding section 210, and the RS-232C I/F section 202 sends/receives a frame on which voice data and a control command are superimposed to attain dial/hook control by the handset. |
