PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deleting specific slave set registration information simply as a similar method to a conventional registration procedure of a slave set by a digital cordless telephone master set. SOLUTION: A dummy slave set registration number (number 9) not included in a true slave set registration number group (numbers 1 to 8) is set, a master set CS and a slave set PS3 registered already that is going to be deleted are set to the slave set registration mode, and the slave set PS3 sends the dummy slave set registration number (number 9) and the PSID (slave set specific identification number) as slave set registration information to the master set CS through a speech channel by the registration operation. The master set judges whether or not the sent/received slave set registration number of the slave set registration information is the dummy slave set registration number (number 9). When different, the conventional slave set registration processing is transited. In the case of the dummy slave set registration number (number 9), whether or not there is a slave set with the same PSID as that of the slave set with the dummy slave set registration number (number 9) among the registered slave sets of the true slave set registration number group (numbers 1 to 8) is judged. When not in existence, the processing is terminated. When in existence, the slave set registration information of the registered slave set PS3 with the same PSID is deleted from the memory 5.
