PROCESS OF DOING BLAST OPERATIONS BY POWDER CHARGES

FIELD: strip mining of mineral resources. SUBSTANCE: two drums with swing joint are set above mouth of borehole. This swing joint is manufactured in the form of flexible tape made from strong material which width is not less than half-length of circumference of charged borehole. Powder charges are placed on tape in pockets or in the form of blasting cartridges which are lowered in step on tape reeled from drums. Ends of tape are separated from drums when face of borehole is achieved, charges are tamped into borehole, blasting net is mounted and blasting is carried out. EFFECT: increased safety of doing blast operations by powder charges. 3 dwg
