Functional testing device for an electronically controlled regulation system in a motor vehicle after a production process

The device is used to test the functioning of an electronically controlled regulation system in a vehicle (1) after a manufacture process of the vehicle in a production plant. The electronically controlled regulation system (2-5) to be tested, is set into operation after being installed in the vehicle for the period (x) of a defined vehicle operation during a path in the production plant. The data of this regulation system are detected and stored in a test system. Preferably, the test device (7a) can be connected on the vehicle side with the regulation system to be tested. Alternatively, the test device (7a) may be arranged outside the vehicle and communicates by wireless communication with the regulation system.
