PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a foamed sheet by which it is possible to easily release the foamed sheet from a mold at the time of foam molding and keep the shape of the molded sheet as it is after the foam molding, and increase the tensile strength without the necessity to perform a preheating process. SOLUTION: A mixture of powder composed mainly of a vegetable itself or its processed material and a polypropylene resin powder at a specified blending ratio is melted by heat and this molten mixture is caused to foam into a sheet-like form as the foamed sheet A. Foam molding of this foamed sheet A is performed by heating molds 50, 60 at 130-155 deg.C and in turn, heating the foamed sheet A at the same temperature. The vegetable itself or its processed material is wheat bran, soya bean husk, bean curd refuse, wood dust, the waste of coffee grinds, beer lees, the strained lees of soy, rice bran, paper dust, bamboo meal or a mixture of ones selected from these materials. |
