PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pretreating agent composition capable of improving adhesiveness of various primers with a material to be coated by cleaning the surface of the material to be coated by including an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent and chlorinated polypropylene at a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. of an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent (preferably a 5-15C aliphatic hydrocarbon, e.g. pentane, isopentane, hexane, isohexane, heptane, etc.), and (B) 0.01-5 pts.wt. of chlorinated polypropylene. Preferably, polypropylene used in the component B is a copolymer of (i) propylene and (ii) at least one kind selected from ethylene and a >=4Cα-olefin. Preferably, a content of the component (i) in the copolymer is 90-99 mol.% and a content of the component (ii) is 1-10 mol.%. When the surface of the material to be coated is pretreated by using the composition, adhesiveness of the material to be coated with a coating material, an adhesive, etc., is improved. |
