PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition which can give a foam improved in flame retardancy and low-smoking properties by mixing a specified polyol with a polyisocyanate, a flame retardent, a catalyst, a blowing agent, a foam stabilizer, and a transition metal compound. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. mixture prepared by mixing a polyol containing at least one polyol component having a hydroxyl value of 200-300 mgKOH per gram of the component and having a total hydroxyl value of 20-800 mgKOH/g with a polyisocyanate is such a mounts that the molar ratio of the number of equivalents of the isocyanate groups in 1 g of the polyisocyanate to that of the hydroxyl groups in 1 g of the polyol is 1-10 with 1-50 pts.wt. flame retardent selected among polyphosphoric acid compounds and mixtures of polyphosphoric acid compounds with isocyanuric acid derivatives or metal hydrates, 0.1-10 pts.wt. catalyst such an amine catalyst, 1-50 pts.wt. blowing agent such as water or a hydrocarbon, 0.1-20 pts.wt. foam stabilizer such as an organosilicon surfactant, and 0.1-10 pts.wt. transition metal compound. |
