PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously and easily manufacturing a foam of a deformed shape and a method for manufacturing a floor heating floor material having a small dimensional change in the case of passing warm water through a warm water pipe and a small permanent strain of a floor even in the case of placing a heavy article. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a foam comprises a step of supplying a foamable thermoplastic resin sheet-like material 1 having foamable thermoplastic resin particles containing a thermal decomposition type foaming agent planely substantially uniformly disposed in a molding space while moving first and second molding members 11, 12 at a predetermined gap in the same direction X so as to construct a molding space of a predetermined size having a protrusion and recess part and integrally coupled with the particles via a foamable thermoplastic resin thin film, and a step of continuously obtaining the foam having a protrusion and recess part responsive to a shape of the space by heating and foaming the material 1 to a decomposing temperature or higher of the agent while supplying the material 1 to the space or after the supply.
