PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire that can realize low cost. SOLUTION: A printed wiring board 3 is stored in a case 1 of a luminaire of a type directly attached to a ceiling. Mounted on the printed wiring board 3 are a power circuit part to transform the output of an a.c. power source into a predetermined d.c. voltage, an inverter circuit part to supply the output of the power circuit part to a discharge lamp after transforming it into high frequency, a power connector part to connect the a.c. power source to the power circuit part, a socket connector part 7 to connect the discharge lamp to the inverter circuit part, and the like. The printed wiring board 3 has a shape keeping away from a power introducing hole 9' located almost at the center of the case 1 and is formed in the shape capable of being installed in a case 2 of a luminaire of a type suspended from a ceiling. |
