PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner scattering out of a container for recovering the residual toner by arranging a sealing member for restraining a leakage of the developer between the developer transporting path inserted in the inlet of the container and the inlet of the container. SOLUTION: This device is allowed to impart the seal 58 standing for the sealing member, to the residual toner flowing inlet of the waste toner bottle 32. The seal 58 is fitted to a guide plate 61 by joint means such as an adhesive tape, and imparted the elasticity by foaming in a U-shape. When the waste toner bottle 32 is boarded on the printing device, the seal 58 is allowed to seal the excessive toner flowing inlet of the waste toner bottle 32 by its elasticity. A stopper 60 is, at the time of taking out the waste toner bottle 32 from the printing device, allowed to prevent the seal 58 from falling out from a duct 33. In this way, the excessive toner, transported inside the duct 33 by a transporting screw 51, when falling from the duct 33, is prevented from scattering outside the waste toner bottle 32 by getting blown by the wind. |
