PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power semiconductor switch which switches on and off bidirectionally, is housed in a casing, has a single control connection, and is regarded as a unified device from the outside. SOLUTION: This power semiconductor device 1 which switches on and off bidirectionally comprises a first and second thyristors 2 connected in series with opposite polarities, diodes 3 connected back to back to these thyristors, and two gates 6 mutually connected to form a common control connection 7. A device so formed is integrated in a common casing. |
