SHROUD FOR FITTING CPU MODULE TO MOTHER BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shroud attachment which positions a CPU module for cooling fans on a mother board and in a computer chassis. SOLUTION: The shroud 10 includes a cooling fan enclosure 11 with an air vent, a CPU fitting section 13, a swivel clip 60, a fastener mount holding anchor fasteners 20 and 22 for fixing the mother board 18 to the chassis 24 and giving an electric grounding point. A side rail grips the side edge part of the CPU module 14 including an enclosure housing 16 sending a cooling area stream onto the CPU.
