PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten parts mounting time of a parts mounting device and, at the same time, to improve the parts aligning accuracy of the device. SOLUTION: Since suction collets 4a and 4b respectively make reciprocating motions between a supply station 1 and a correction station 2 and between the correction station 2 and a mounting station 3, parts are carried to the correction station 2 from the supply station 1 and to the mounting station 3 from the correction station 2. The images of the parts on the correction stage 2a and the mounting positions on a mounting stage 3 are respectively picked up with TV cameras 5-2 and 5-3, and a work is positioned by moving the mounting stage 3a in the x- and y-directions based on the image picking-up signals of the cameras 5-2 and 5-3. Then the parts are aligned with its mounting position on the work by moving the correction stage 2a in the x-, y-, and θ-directions. |
