SOLUTION: While an apparatus is switched to a power saving mode, a power is supplied to the apparatus without passing through a power factor improvement unit 63. While the apparatus is switched to the power saving mode, the apparatus is restored from the power saving mode by the detection of the depression of switches 53-57 without the operation of the coordinate detection circuit of a touch-panel 51. Three modes are provided as the power saving modes and witches corresponding to the respective modes are provided.
