PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability and to prevent the damage of a coronary artery by piercing a sheath part in an axial direction from a tip part and providing a connecting means fitting in and holding the base tip part to a guide wire. SOLUTION: The guide wire 12 is constituted of a stainless wire material and a flexible searching chip 12a in the state of a coil is provided at its tip part. A first connecting means 15 is formed at the other tip. This part 15 pierces a sheath 16 along a shaft core from a tip part to provide a projection, the fitting-in part 26 of a connecting wire 22 is engaged with, at the inner wall of an entrance. This wire 12 is formed so that the chip 12a may be projected from a balloon catheter tip and the means 15 may be extended outward from the introducing means of a connector at the time of putting through a balloon catheter hollow part. The wire 22 is constituted of a stainless line wire and a second connecting means 25 with a fitting in part 26 which can be fit into and engaged with the part 16, is provided at its tip part. Operability is improved and the damage of the coronary artery is prevented by this constitution. |
