PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet having excellent strength and water resistance of a surface layer and a high pigment color developing density. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording sheet comprising an ink receptive layer at least on one side surface of a base material, the layer contains an alumina sol, a cationic polymer and a binder resin in such a manner that the solid content weight ratio of the alumina sol to the polymer is 1:0.5 to 40, and the binder resin contains a silanol group modified polyvinylalcohol. |
