PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ablation recording material for accurately performing an original manuscript reproducibility of a press plate in a print field or reproducibility of an original manuscript (IC circuit diagram) of a resist in an industrial resist field. SOLUTION: In the ablation recording material comprising at least one coloring agent layer on a support without executing a step of image-like heating by utilizing a laser and the method for forming an image, a foreign matter having a maximum diameter of 40 μm or more in a predetermined direction per an area of 0.31 m<2> of the support is substantially 0 piece, and foreign matters each having a maximum diameter in a predetermined direction of 10 to less than 40 μm are substantially 200 pieces or less. |
