Digital accelerometer with capacitive sensor

The accelerometer includes a sensor (1) which consists of a conducting blade (2) placed between two fix electrodes (3,4). The blade hangs half way between the electrodes and changes its position to left or right according to the direction of the inertial force applied.When the blade is positioned in the middle of the gap between the two electrodes the capacity measured between the first electrode and the blade is equal to the capacity between the blade and the second electrode. If the blade changes its position to the left or right the two capacities will have different values. A circuit (100) operating as a charge amplifier is connected to a digitiser (200) via an integrator (400). The digitiser delivers an output signal to a digital analog converter (500) which is linked to a mixing circuit (300)
