Non-contact working displacement measuring system especially for piston type tensioner

The distance measuring system uses signals obtained by influencing of external stray fields by a ring of soft magnetic material. The measuring coils used are connected in a measurement bridge and by means of a soft magnetic rod, are coupled electromagnetically in the inner space of the coil. The winding turn ratio of the oscillator and measuring coil, have a proportionality necessary for a linear signal production. The external magnetic fields of the coils are coupled using a soft magnetic ring.
