<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating cover for an insulated electric wire which reliably provides insulation performance, has excellent handleability at the work site and improves workability. SOLUTION: Guiding projected part 5 or fitted parts 6 are formed in cover bodies 2, 3 and the ends in the circumferential sides of the cover bodies 2, 3 are prevented from coming close each other due to the existence of the guiding projected parts 5 until the adhesive member 7 of the cover body 3 to pinch and close an insulated electric wire reaches the position at which the adhesive member 7 can sufficiently closely be attached to the circumference of the insulated electric wire, so that insufficient adhesion of the cover bodies 2, 3 due to their early adhesion by the adhesive can be avoided and naked parts of a core wire of the insulated electric wire is reliably covered with the adhesive member 7 and the cover bodies 2, 3 and insulation property is thus easily secured.</p> |
