PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new composition, especially in the form of a food such as a beverage effective in treating or reducing dermatosis represented by atopic dermatitis by including lactosucrose as an active ingredient therein. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including lactosucrose (hereinafter referred to as LS) represented by the formula as an active ingredient in an amount of about 0.5-70 g, preferably about 5-30 g in 100 g composition and, as necessary, further including an extender, a sweetener, other glucides, vitamins, a perfume, a colorant or the like and preparing the composition as, e.g. a massive, a liquid, a syrupy or a powdery form. In the case of a beverage, the LS to be the active ingredient in an amount of 0.5-70 g/100 mL, preferably 5-30 g/100 mL is usually formulated together with a suitable buffer agent and the material is prepared as pH about 4.0-6.5, preferably pH about 4.5-6.0. |
