The invention concerns a machine for forming packages with a film (F) having matching sealing sections (300), which comprises: means for feeding, on the film (F), sealing means (300) including two support webs (310, 320) provided with a first longitudinal assembly (302) consisting of two matching sections (312, 322) and a second longitudinal assembly (304) arranged spaced from the first, means (160, 330) for urging together the support webs (310, 320) and two rectilinear guides (170, 180) capable of penetrating respectively in the space between each pair of the side edges (315, 325; 316, 326) of the support webs (310, 320).
