<p>A system for an examination of an eye of a patient. The system (11) is able to substantially automatically determine the pupillary response without manual intervention from the patient. In addition, the system is able to compensate for eye and head (13) movements, such that the patient does not need to remain in an immobile, upright position during the test. The system preferably includes a grid of light sources (19) attached to a housing which covers the eyes of the patient. The light sources in the grid can be individually activated in order to stimulate different areas of the retina for testing.</p> |
