Interlocking block system for dam construction

The system consists of waterproof blocks of recycled plastic which are hooked together beside and above each other via dovetail elements, and are connected without mortar or adhesive. This forms a bond, which can take loads and pressure immediately. Each block has two projecting dovetails, and two correspondingly-shaped apertures, for vertical and horizontal connection. The dovetails and apertures are wedge-shaped, so that connection can be made from above only.
