Improvements to the construction of machines for obtaining webs of spooled, embossed paper, in which they are transferred on an endless belt arranged inside a drying tunnel. The spooling of the reel of wide sheet, embossed or crimped paper is by means of peripheral rotary contact by means of another endless belt, which turns, in constant contact with the reel. The head for cutting the sheet which has already been processed has an independent motor of variable speed. Between the exit from the drying tunnel and the head for dividing up the sheet into multiple continuous strips which are rolled up on themselves, there is a tray for temporary storage of the sheet of embossed paper. <IMAGE>
