PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always delivery consumables to users purchasing image forming devices at optimal timing by automatically reporting data for reporting the fact that the count values of consumable counters are >= reporting level values to a central controller, at reportable timing, when the fact is judged. SOLUTION: The CPUs of the image forming devices 1-5 judge whether image forming operations are in execution or not respectively and reset reporting flags, when the image forming operations are in execution. On the other hand, when the image forming operations are not in execution, it is judged whether the reporting flags are set or not. When the reporting flags are not set, it is judged whether the count values of the consumable counters are >=previously set reporting level values or not. When the count values are >= the reporting level values, consumable management data are automatically reported to the central controller 6 through a communication equipment 7 and a communication channel 8, to set the reporting flags. These reports are made by pouring from the data communication equipment 7. |
