PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which has no interference with the displacement action of a displacement member, even if mis-alignment occurs between a feed screw and a frame. SOLUTION: The rotational movement of a ball screw 36 is converted into a linear movement by a feed nut 60, so that a displacement mechanism 38 makes a linear movement. If a mis-alignment occurs at the ball screw 36, an engagement member 68 slides towards a nut holder 64 in an arrowhead (C) direction by the first guide mechanism 72, so that a second sliding guide 76 slides towards the engagement member 68 in an arrowhead (B) direction through the second guide mechanism 80. Thus sliding resistance between the second sliding guide 76 and the frame of an actuator 30 will not increase even if a mis-alignment occurs between the ball screw 36 and an actuator 30. |
