PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielded inductor which is superior in thermal radiation property. SOLUTION: A shielded inductor 10 is constituted, such that an entire coil body 1 is shielded with a packaging member 7 made of a synthetic resin, except for a portion of an external terminal electrode 4 which has been led outside. In particular, the packaging member 7 is made of a ferrite composite resin which comprises a ferrite powder at a ratio of 60-95 wt.% serving as an improver for thermal radiation property, wherein an average particle size is 5-20μm and particle size distribution is 0.1-100μm. The packaging member 7 thus obtained has a high thermal conductivity which suppresses rise in temperature of the inductor, thereby increasing current supplied to the coil body 1.
