PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the property of installation work of a metal fitting for installing an outdoor unit by making the rear side of a hook groove of a longitudinal rod to correspond to the folded part for hooking of a wall mounting rod, enlarging the opening part of the hook groove so as to let the folded part in easily, and providing the hook groove formed place of the longitudinal rod with a pressing bolt for pressing the folded part. SOLUTION: When the outdoor unit of a room air conditioner is installed on the wall surface of a building, the rear plate part 11 of a wall mounting rod 1 of an installation metal fitting is contacted to the wall surface, and a fastening screw 15 which is threaded into a fastening slot 14 is screwed into the wall surface so as to fix the mounting rod 1 to the wall surface. Next, an opening part 23 is entered by a folded part 13, so that the hook part of a hook groove 24 of a suspending rod 2 is located rearwards of the folded part 13. The lower part of the suspending rod 2 is put closer to the wall surface side so as to put the suspending rod 2 into a roughly vertical condition. A pressing bolt 26 is threadedly fastened in this condition, so that the folded part 13 is press-contacted to the rear edge side of the hook groove 24, so as to fix the suspending rod 2. After that, a support arm rod 3 is rotated to the horizontal position, and then a nut 28 is threaded into a screw bar 27 to fix the support arm rod 3. |
