PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient demand control in summer without marring comfortableness, in an existing wireless remote control system of air conditioner. SOLUTION: In this method, at start of demand control, a signal to shift up the set temperature of an air conditioner 3 by 1 deg.C is sent from the wireless remote-controlled transmitter of a demand controller 1, based on the demand control information from an electric power company obtained through a communication network at the peak of power in summer, and also the finish of demand control is made fifteen minutes or under from the start of the demand control, and at that time, demand control removal information is transmitted from the electric power company to restore the set temperature of the air conditioner to the former set temperature, using a demand controller. Accordingly, this never mars comfortableness, so the cancellation of demand control of a user can be reduced, and also efficient power peak cut becomes possible, and regional power failure accidents can be prevented. |
