PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to play music. SOLUTION: Rhythm information on note on and off timings and the velocity is extracted from music playing operation on a MIDI keyboard 1 and MIDI data stored in a storage device 4 are corrected. A message is sent out to a MIDI sound source 5 in the timing of the rhythm information and a musical sound is generated in real time.
