<p>A peripheral has not been conventionally used through connection to another bus although it could be functionally used through another bus. A bus conversion adapter (40) for connecting an ATAPI specification hard disc (31) to an SCSI bus comprises a bus width alteration logic (41), an interface changing logic (42), an SCSI control logic (43) and an ATAPI control logic (44). During transition through eight phases on the SCSI bus, the command system is matched while converting the bus width between the SCSI bus and the ATAPI bus.</p> |
