PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced ceramic molded product having a high strength and permitting to recycle a defective product. SOLUTION: Synthetic polymer fibers having an average length of 300-1000 μm and an average diameter of 2.5-30 μm are homogeneously dispersed in a fiber-reinforced ceramic molded product in an amount of 0. 2-3 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the powder of a ceramic and the powder of a sintering auxiliary. The synthetic polymer fibers are preferably the fibers of a synthetic polymer such as a polyester or a nylon, and preferably are subjected to a hydrophilic treatment. |
